We’ve finally gotten our hands on the infant version of the Nike Air Max 1/97 “Sean Wotherspoon.” Like the adult version of the sneaker, the kids’ version is a mashup of the Air Max 1 and Air Max 97 silhouettes with a colorful corduroy upper. While the tiny shoe’s sole has a sightly more simplified array of colors compared to its grown-up counterpart, the infant sneaker maintains much of the same details as the original, like a smiley face on in the inner sole, a wave patch on the tongue and “VA to LA” embroidered on the pull tab, in reference to Wotherspoon’s move from Virginia to Los Angeles.

We’ve already seen the shoe modeled by Wotherspoon’s infant son, but we hope to see it on many more little feet in the coming weeks. Get a closer look at the sneaker in our photo gallery above and unboxing video below, and shop the infant sizes of the Air Max 1/97 “Sean Wotherspoon” at Nike starting March 31.
